Great Turtle Trail Run Posted December 1, 2021 This year marks the 28th running of one of the most scenic trail events in the state. We have a capacity of 3,000 participants running and walking the inside trails of Mackinac Island during the last open weekend of the season. Mackinac Island Lilac Festival Run & Walk Posted November 30, 2021 Help kick off the 74th Mackinac Island Lilac Festival with a great morning race to enjoy the early season beauty on the island. The course will provide you with the tree-covered paved roads through the center of the Island, and tremendous lake views with the Mackinac Bridge on the horizon. This is certainly a race you don’t want to miss!
Fort2Fort Five Mile Challenge Posted March 27, 2020 TO REGISTER: runmackinac.com The sixth annual Fort2Fort Five Mile Challenge will start at Fort Mackinac at 9:00 a.m. and passes all of the historic and natural wonders Mackinac Island State Park has to offer! This challenging but fun course starts runners inside iconic Fort Mackinac then passes by Arch Rock, the Mackinac Island Service Camp Scout Barracks, Sugarloaf Rock, Point Lookout, the Mackinac Island cemeteries including the historic Post Cemetery, Fort Holmes (where runners will be greeted by a Musket blast from a War of 1812 soldier), and finally winds down by the Michigan Governor’s Summer Residence and finishes outside Fort Mackinac. #thisismackinac #runmackinac TO REGISTER: runmackinac.com
