Civil War at Mackinac Weekend
Fort Mackinac Mackinac Island, MIIn the summer of 1862 Fort Mackinac held a new title: political prison. Join reenactors portraying the “Stanton Guard,” the company mustered to guard the prisoners, as they present special programming throughout the weekend at the fort.
