A rocky beach opens to the magnificent blue waters of the lake, offering a beautiful setting for a Mackinac Island wedding. British Landing is located on the northwest side of Mackinac Island, off M-185 with a dynamic view of the Upper Peninsula, Lake Huron, St. Ignace and the Mackinac Bridge.
If you wish to view British Landing, please call to schedule a visit. The beach is open to the public, and you may also view it without an appointment. Dates and times fill up fast and are reserved on a first come, first served basis.

Weddings may be scheduled at British Landing from early May through October. The beach can be booked for a wedding from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. All wedding reservations include a 2-hour time block for decorating, ceremony, pictures, and clean-up. Rehearsals can also be scheduled the day before.
Up to 20 chairs are provided for the ceremony. No additional chairs can be requested. A Mackinac State Historic Parks representative will be available throughout the ceremony. In the case of inclement weather, Mission Church will be the designated weather back-up.
