Getting Around

Please keep in mind that Historic Downtown Mackinac is very much an outdoor experience with buildings spread along Market Street, so prepare accordingly for various weather conditions. We recommend walking shoes and comfortable clothing. Please consult your Fort Mackinac site map for site locations.

Touring Time

Historic Downtown Mackinac is three buildings spread throughout Market Street. We recommend that you plan to spend at least one hour touring the sites, but don’t be surprised if you spend longer!
