Exploring Ancient Mackinac Island

July 16 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm EDT

This afternoon ramble will reveal some of Mackinac Island’s most ancient wonders. Meet naturalist Kyle Bagnall behind Fort Mackinac, where we’ll begin our hike. From there, we’ll follow winding pathways up to the “turtle’s back,” viewing Skull Cave, Point Lookout, Sugar Loaf, and Fort Holmes. This adventure covers about 1 3/4 miles over roads, trails with uneven terrain, and descending 141 stairs. Admission by donation. #thisismackinac
