9001 US-23, GPS coordinates: N 45-degrees 44.757; W 084-degrees 40.344 As the Straits of Mackinac's first industrial complex, this site provided lumber for the settlement of Mackinac Island in the 1790s. Today, we demonstrate both hand-saw techniques and the power of a water-driven sawmill embedded in scenic Mill Creek.
New this year is the Adventure Tour and children's discovery stations. Climb the Nature Trail Climbing Wall. Soar like an eagle down the Eagle’s Flight Zip Line. Walk through the treetops on the Forest Canopy Bridge. Adventure to the top of the five-story Treetop Discovery Tower.
