The historic Steward's Quarters, located just east of Fort Mackinac on Mackinac Island, is available for seasonal rental (May - October) through Mackinac State Historic Parks in 2009. It can also be rented on a monthly basis, if necessary. Built atop a 150 foot bluff in 1887, the smoke free home is pet friendly and contains a kitchen, living room, dining room, sitting room and three bedrooms: two queen and one with two twin beds. There also is a front porch with stunning views of the bay and a fenced-in yard.
