The historic Matthew Geary House on Mackinac Island's Market Street is available for monthly rental (May and July  - October) through Mackinac State Historic Parks in 2009.  Built in 1846, the smoke free home is pet friendly and contains a kitchen, living room, dining room, sun room, laundry facility, and four bedrooms: two bedrooms with one double bed, one bedroom with two twin beds, and one bedroom with one queen bed.  There also is a deck, a basement for storing bicycles, and a hilly yard.
