Art Contests

We are pleased to announce the theme for the 2013 Richard and Jane Manoogian Mackinac Art Museum juried art exhibition, "People of Mackinac."

Cash prizes totalling $5,000 will be awarded, in addition to a "Best in Show" medal selected by the juror.

The 2012 art exhibition "Mackinac's Grand Hotel" at the Richard and Jane Manoogian Mackinac Art Museum recognizes the iconic establishment’s 125th anniversary and is co-presented with "The Art of Hospitality: Grand Hotel at 125," a special exhibit displaying various artifacts and history of the iconic island establishment.

Rosemary Gould - Honorable Mention

Karen Gould - Honorable Mention

 

This combination of artist-submitted work and historic artifcats will continue to be on display until October 7, 2012.
